Christ Church, South Yarra

Since 2019, we have enjoyed a continued relationship with Christ Church South Yarra and have undertaken several projects associated with the upgrade, conservation, and repair of their buildings.
We have undertaken restoration of the original carpet runner informed by early images of the church interior and adopting a colourway that references the various brightly coloured stained-glass windows within the church. Internal alterations have included works focused on ecclesiastical rite with the development of a new alter and podium in the transept of the church and repair of the chancel.

In 2021 Christ Church South Yarra were recipients of the Living Heritage Grant Program that enabled repair of the highly weathered sandstone entrance and the sandstone corbels below the roof eave. Our services included assistance in the procurement of the grant, scoping of works, documentation, Heritage Victoria approvals processes, tendering and contract administration.
