Government House

As the most significant and largest house in Australia, Government House, Melbourne requires specialist conservation works and planning. We have been fortunate to have an ongoing relationship with Government House through the delivery of a number of complex conservation and adaptive reuse projects that address issues of disability access and the ongoing care of the original and highly significant fabric at Government House.

Our role in works at Government House has included design services, conditions reporting, documentation, Heritage Victoria approvals processes, tender, contract administration and strategic planning looking at long-term conservation programmes into the future. The vastness and complexity of the Government House estate requires essential planning to ensure conservation works are focused in their delivery.
